Vocabulary: list #7 Sentences


  1. I guess I would be an aberration because I have chosen to be with someone that is usual for society.

Vocabulary: Fall List #6 sentences


  1. It is beatitude to live in America with free public education.
  2. Spiders and cockroaches are my bête noire because I just cringe at the site of them.
  3. Dogs are bodes of earthquakes because they always bark before an earthquake hits.
  4. My cellar is dank because there is no are no lights and there is a pipe leak.

  7. Sometimes I detest living in Los Alamos because of the fetid smell of manure ever present.

  9. Eighth grade year was my heyday because I was involved in ASB, sports, and I was also valedictorian.

Vocabulary: Fall List #5 Sentences


  1. Obviously I think the best way to reinforce something is to rewrite it on paper, but so much of our modern lives are dominated by technology that using your own material has been scarce. Many people do rely on tools and that will affect the acumen of youth.
  2. Judges will adjudicate whether an accused person is guilty or not, only after careful consideration.
  3. An iPod found in the Iliad is an example of anachronism.
  4. Most people listen and believe in the apocryphal acts of those who have come before them.
  5. When metaphors always seemed grammatically incorrect to me because of the disparity between the two objects being compared.
  6. I understand why heroes dissimulate their identity with masks and false names, because people fear what they don’t understand.
  7. I learn by observing and working out problems so empirical formulas are easier for me to grasp than formulas in which you naively accept by previous scientists. I would love to observe experiments rather than accept information blindly.

Vocabulary list #4 sentences


  1. Siddhartha is the most famous apostate who renounced the hinduistic beliefs he was born into.
  2. A person who has ADD is usually effusive and lacks self-control.
  3. I would never go into a dark alley because alleys usually present an impasse.
  4. My dream is to one day run a marathon and when I accomplish this dream, I will have a sense of euphoria.
  5. Depressed people are habitually lugubrious and people those around them down.
  6. Knights were known for their bravado in battle and this usually worn over the ladies.
  7. Democracy is a great form of government because not everyone agrees but the president who is elected; he is usually elected on a consensus.
  8. My two favorite hobbies are running and reading, both dichotomous because one is stationary and the other is far from it.
  9. When a person is having an asthma attack, it is because their airways have constricted and airflow has been hindered.
  10. I love European churches because of their gothic design that stands out from the modern architecture.

  17. I love when politicians don’t have an answer to a statement and they say something non sequitur in order to change the topic.
  18. Mystique is by far one of the coolest villains in X-men. She changes appearances so often one never knows what she truly looks like.
  19. I laughed when I saw the word quagmire because I thought it only a name of this flabby person in Family Guy.
  20. Heroes have a parlous journey therefore they don’t settle down with a girl until the conflict has been resolved.

Vocabulary: Fall List #3 sentences

  1. I purchased a letter jacket so that I can wear my accolades around, such as my golden warrior pins and varsity letter pins.
  2. I thought the cheesecake would have equal mixes of sour and sweet, but the acerbity was more profound.
  3. Every battle usually has an attrition of soldiers which will take its toll on the war later.
  4. Characters that are static in stories tend to be bromide, while dynamic characters are usually mercurial.
  5. I have two nationalities so I’m not a chauvinist in any way yet my brother loves yelling “Viva Mexico” every morning. L
  6. I get chronic headaches everyday at noons, which are usually mitigated by ibuprofen.
  7.  Teachers who lecture the entire class period usually expound concepts well, unless the lectures aren’t didactic.
  8. Factionalism is something that happens in every society because people have different opinions in different topics.
